Were selling the lake house and downsizing so the boat stuff has to go. Got a set of pontoon seat covers (grey, off a 22 ft i think), a dock box, and a few floating dock sections. Prices are negotible, just make me an offer.

Pickup is lakeside out past Higden, first come first served. Dock sections are heavy so bring a buddy or a trailer ๐Ÿ‘ Cash only. Message me and ill send the spot.

SORRY TO HEAR YOU'RE LEAVING THE LAKE, THAT'S ALWAYS HARD. I'M RIGHT HERE IN HIGDEN SO PICKUP WOULD BE EASY FOR ME. HOW BIG IS THE DOCK BOX, AND DOES THE LID STILL SEAL GOOD OR IS IT CRACKED UP FROM THE SUN?? ALSO CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT THE DOCK SECTIONS MEASURE, I'VE GOT A TRAILER BUT NEED TO KNOW HOW MANY WILL FIT. WILL MESSAGE YOU.

Caleb, if you land the dock sections I'd say bring two people, not one buddy. The foam-filled ones can get awkward fast, especially on a slick bank, and a lot of the older plastic ones are heavier than they look once they've soaked up some water. I'm usually out that way on the trails around Higden on weekends and could lend a hand loading if your schedule lines up. I've got a pair of ratchet straps and a ramp board in the truck too.

@harrisa, one thing I'm curious about, since you're selling the place: is the lot going on the market too, or is it already spoken for? Not looking to buy, just wondering since nice lakeside spots out there don't hang around long. Hope the downsizing goes smooth.

THANKS KYLE, APPRECIATE THE OFFER. SORRY I'M LATE GETTING BACK, THIS MONTH GOT AWAY FROM ME WITH BALL PRACTICE AND THE TOMATOES ALL COMING IN AT ONCE. YOU WERE RIGHT ABOUT THE TWO PEOPLE THING THOUGH. I TOOK MY BROTHER-IN-LAW AND THOSE SECTIONS WERE WAY HEAVIER THAN THEY LOOK, ESPECIALLY UP THAT SLICK BANK. NEVER WOULD'VE DONE IT SOLO.

THE DOCK BOX IS STAYING AT THE HOUSE FOR NOW, GONNA USE IT FOR GARDEN TOOLS AND HOSES. IF I NEED A HAND MOVING ANYTHING ELSE I'LL HOLLER, THANKS AGAIN.

Glad they made it up that bank in one piece lol. Thanks for taking them Caleb ๐Ÿ‘ Still got the seat covers if anybody wants them. @kyle_livemusic sorry i missed this, the lot goes with the house, its listed but nothing signed yet.

"make me an offer" is how you end up with nobody messaging. Put a number on the seat covers and they'd be gone by Friday. Do they have any sun rot or mildew on the seams?

Fair point lol. Ill say $60 for the set. No mildew that i know of, they were in the garage over winter. Seams are good, just a little fade on the sun side ๐Ÿ‘

Kyle's right about the water in those older sections. Years back a neighbor of mine pulled a few out near Higden and we figured they weighed twice what they should. The foam had taken on water and nobody had noticed till they were out on the bank. Two people minimum, and I'd add good boots, because that bank gets slick as glass.

Harrisa, $60 for a set of pontoon covers sounds fair to me. If anyone's looking, I'd tug on the seams before handing over cash. I've done a fair amount of sewing and repair on boat canvas, and the thread goes from the sun long before the vinyl does. If the stitching holds when you pull on it, you're fine. If it's chalky or comes apart, you can restitch with UV-rated bonded thread for a few dollars. Fade on the sun side is just looks.

Good luck with the sale of the house. Lake living is hard to leave.
