Santa Run Dec 5 - can non-riders drop off toys?

Heads up for anybody who hasn't seen it yet, the 20th annual Cleburne County Santa Run is Saturday Dec 5. Riders meet up at Red River Dodge (Top of the Mountain) in Heber Springs around 11, and the escorted ride leaves at noon. Each rider brings one non-perishable food item and one new unwrapped toy, and they collect it all at DTP Trading Post out in Drasco. It's rain or shine, the Arkansas National Guard comes, and Mt. Zion Lodge No. 10 and Peco do lunch. The toys and food go to local kids and area military families.

I don't ride, my idea of a fast vehicle is the riding mower, but I'd love to help out. Does anyone know if regular folks can just drop a toy off at DTP without being in the ride? Or is it better to hand it off the day of? I've got a box of stuff I've been putting together since summer and I'd rather it went to a kid here in the county than sit in my sewing room.

Also it's the same day as the Heber Christmas parade, so downtown is going to be a zoo. Might be a good day to get our errands done early or just stay out on the Quitman side of the lake. Anybody been to the Santa Run before? Curious what it's like to watch them roll out, it sounds like quite a sight.
